Overview

The sound garden is part of our Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) Gardens. The space has a shade structure, sound walk full of different paving surfaces and plants that make interesting sounds in the garden such as grasses and seed pods from different plants. There are also wind chimes, and vertical xylophones and steel drums made from recycled metal. The space has been designed for experimentation, imagainative play, and engaging hands on learning.

The layout of the Sound Garden that allows for multiple future programs including:

Sound mediation
Art and Music Programs for improved mental health
Sound exploration for elementary students
Opened ended play
Exploration of healing sounds in nature

This garden is part of the Heart and Soul Children's Garden and will be available for special events and programming upon request.
