August 30 10:00 Butterfly Day Learn about butterflies and for young learners we'll be making watercolor butterflies and for more seasoned learners we have Alice Permenter, a Washington County Master Gardener, who will be sharing her vast knowledge and assisting in making pollinator garden plans for your yard. Admission is $5 or free for members

September Events

September 13 10:00-3:00 MS Science Festival at the B.B King Museum Come see us at the MS Science Festival along with other amazing science based organizations. Free admission

September 26th 6:00-7:30 and 27th 10:00-11:30 and 1:00-2:30 Community Pumpkin Carving Come get a sneak peek of the Pumpkin Patch and carve a pumpkin for our Jack o Lantern wall which will welcome visitors to the Pumpkin Patch and Haunted Trail. $5 admission $10 pumpkin carving, admission free for members $10 pumpkin carving. Register in advance here.

October Events

October 1-31 Fall Harvest Frenzy and Spooktacular Trail Field trips are available Tuesday-Friday at 9:00 or 12:00 and we're open to the public Friday 3:00-7:00 and Saturday 9:00-7:00. The Spooktacular Trail along with classic horror films will be happening every Friday and Saturday from 7:00-9:00. $8 admission for field trips (includes small pumpkin), $5 pumpkin patch admission + pumpkin purchases, Haunted Trail $10 admission

October 13 The pumpkin patch will be open for students and families on Fall Break!

Daytime events

• Pick a pumpkin and decorate it while you're here (let us take care of the mess!)

• Pumpkin bowling

• Pumpkin Volleyball (inflatable ball, not a real pumpkin!)

• Corn Hole

• Pumpkin Ring Toss 

• Fall photo ops everywhere you look!

• Heart and Soul Children's Garden regular attractions 

  • Castle with giant Legos

  • Stage with costumes and giant chalkboard

  • Sand pit

  • Playhouses with pretend food and a play kitchen

  • Sound Garden

  • Engineering Pavilion with Legos, magnetic tiles, and other big building blocks 

  • Water play with window markers  

Evening Events

• 1/2 mile haunted trail 

• Classic horror films

• Glow in the dark pumpkin volleyball (inflatables, not real pumpkins!)

• Fall photo ops
